Hey! I’m Rachael Smith , and I’m the Director of Finance at WeCreate.

I manage all the financial moving pieces—from forecasting and cash flow to reporting, budgeting, payroll, and everything involving a spreadsheet. My job is helping our team understand what the numbers are telling us, where we’re headed, and what decisions we need to make next.

Before WeCreate, I spent several years in public accounting working in both tax and audit with small to mid-sized businesses throughout Northwest Indiana. From there, I moved into hospitality finance, working with a large management company supporting multiple hotel properties.

Now I get to put all of that experience to work at WeCreate—part accountant, part forecaster, part problem-solver, and occasionally the person asking, “Show me the money!”
